Twitter has added another element to Direct Messages (DMs) that will now channel DMs from obscure supporters.
DMs from individuals you don't know will be contained in "Solicitations" in the new Messages tab inbox in Twitter on iOS, Android and will soon be accessible on Twitter.com.
"The new DM audit inbox work works for any individual who's turned on the setting that permits receipt of messages from individuals they don't take after and will give you a chance to decide to either "Erase" or "Acknowledge" inbound messages," TechCrunch.com provided details regarding Tuesday.
The sender won't know regardless of whether recipient has seen their message until you hit acknowledge.
A week ago, Twitter dined a customisable Direct Message Card that organizations can use to advance and offer bots and other client encounters in DMs.
With this new card, Twitter goes for helping organizations drive revelation of such encounters - both through Promoted Tweets and natural sharing.
